Calla Lillies for candles.

Hi and welcome.
Today I am sharing some gorgeous Calla Lillies I made for a candle for a funeral and a memorial candle.
I wouldn't normally post anything to do with this type of work but I love making these Lillies so much I just thought I could share the actual flowers.
These are so so easy to make. I use Silk Foam so there was no heating needed all I had to do was cut the shape, I used a template I had drawn onto a heavy card and cut out then traced around using something sharp. Then I cut the shapes and started to shape them I thin the edges of the shape by rolling them and then using a ball tool I shaped an indent into the base of the flower shape then just rolled the edges of the flower. I made the stamen using wire and white florists tape that I then colored using a soft pastel from 14 Craft Bar.

Here are the flowers.

Birthday Card with removable clip.

Hi and welcome.
Today I am sharing with you a card I made for a little girl in my daughters pre school class who shares the same birthday as my daughter.

I am sorry for the terrible photos, the card had been given to Kalina when I discovered the quality. I used beautiful Lemoncraft papers from 14 Craft Bar and used the Rosy Dot die that was designed by the 14 Craft Bar blog coordinator Emilia. I bought it ages ago and forgot to use it!! I used the gorgeous pink Silk Foam and using the new soft pastels from 14 Craft Bar I colored the tips of the flowers, the edges of my torn paper, the chipboard element and also used a wet wipe to smear some on the base card too. When I had put the whole card together I then used the Liquarel watercolors in Magenta and White to add some splashes.

Handmade Gifts.

Hello today over on the 14 Craft Bar blog it was my turn for some inspiration.
It's that time of year when the kiddies are finishing up for the fat man to arrive and of course they want to give their teachers a gift! I hate, hate, hate trying to figure out what to get for teachers as I'm sure over the years they have accumulated a whole load of best teacher nik naks and end up a little chubbier and hungover during the holidays trying to get through all those sweets and bottles of wine so I decided to fancy up some post it pads. Every teacher I know uses them for their notes so I'm hoping that they are gifts that will be used.

I also made a couple of mixed media canvases for my eldest daughters 2 friends.

Christmas Cards

Hello,
Today I have some Christmas inspiration to share for the 14 Craft Bar blog.
I am part of a FaceBook group and decided to take part in a swap that was organised by the group creator so I had to make 5 cards to send to 5 other members of the group. I wanted to create the 5 cards using the same materials and elements but still have the cards different and I think I did achieve that. Here are my 5 creations with my Foamiran Poinsettia and Foamiran Holly.

You can visit the 14 Craft Bar blog by clicking the photo below to find out what I used to make my Holly & Poinsettia.

14 Craft Bar Inspiration.

Today I have a card with some easy and simple Foamiran flowers.
I have a tutorial for these flowers recorded and just have to edit it but in the meantime if you haven't seen the tutorials from the other DT ladies hop on over to the blog now to have a look at the great tutorials on using the all new 14 Craft Bar flower making stencils.

I used a stencil for the background on this card with some modeling paste and some iridescent medium and then added some color using Jane Davenport and Prima watercolors.

The chipboards are from a huge selection in the 14 Craft Bar store and make sure to check in regularly as Agnes is constantly adding to the store.

The butterflies and feather were part of a set coming soon to the store and I stamped them and then fussy cut them before using the watercolors to color them.

Thank you for stopping by and don't forget to the monthly challenge over on the blog where the theme is ..... Anything Goes!!!!!
